&Tradition
Established in 2010 in Copenhagen, &Tradition stands as a global brand rooted in the Danish tradition of craftsmanship and design. They are storytellers of originality, whether crafting anew or reviving classics, dedicated fervently to shaping the timeless masterpieces of the future. Their ethos revolves around empowering their team members and network of creatives, designers, and collaborators to actively engage in their brand’s narrative. With a steadfast focus on the planet and its people, they endeavor always to act with mindfulness.
The &Tradition collection comprises furniture, lighting, and interior accents spanning decades of iconic design. From Verner Panton’s paradigm-shifting Flowerpot lamp, conceived in the late 1960s, to Arne Jacobsen and Flemming Lassen’s Mayor sofa, tailored specifically for Søllerød’s municipal chambers on the outskirts of Copenhagen, their repertoire encapsulates a rich tapestry of design heritage.
Once prized possessions sought after by enthusiasts at prestigious auctions and accessible to only a select few, many of their offerings—such as the Mayor sofa, Viggo Boesen’s Little Petra chair, and select designs by Hvidt & Mølgaard—are resurrected from original sketches and produced on a grand scale for the very first time.
In tandem with these mid-century treasures, their collection boasts contemporary creations by some of today’s most celebrated international artists. From the imaginative ingenuity of Valencia-based Jaime Hayon to the local craftsmanship of Space Copenhagen, the Scandinavian sensibility of Swedish-raised designer Sami Kallio, and the creative prowess of the Norwegian duo Anderssen & Voll, their repertoire showcases a diverse array of modern brilliance.
