Jaime Hayon

Jaime Hayon, the talented Spanish artist and designer, was born in Madrid in 1974. His creative journey began with studies in industrial design, both in Madrid and Paris. In 1997, he ventured to Fabrica, the design and communication academy established by Benetton in Italy. Here, he took charge of the design department, a role he held until 2003.

The year 2000 marked a significant milestone, as Hayon set up his own design studio. By 2003, he had transitioned to dedicating his efforts entirely to personal projects. Today, he stands among the world’s most renowned artists, with his works proudly featured in the permanent collections of esteemed galleries and museums. This list includes notable institutions like the MAK Vienna, the Design Museum London, and the Centre Pompidou in Paris, among others.

Hayon’s deep-rooted passion for craftsmanship has led to collaborations with prestigious traditional companies, bridging the realms of heritage and innovation.
